Michael Ballam is an operatic tenor and recitalist of international reputation. He has shared the stage with the greatest singers of the 20th Century and preformed in the greatest recital halls of the USA, Europe, Asia, Russia, and the Middle East. He holds a degree of Doctor of Music with High Distinction from the prestigious Indiana University and is a Professor of Music at Utah State University. In 1993 he founded the Utah Festival Opera Company, one of the nation's premiere Opera Festivals. He is the author of over 40 publications and recordings in international distribution.

With all of Dr. Ballam's professional and academic achievements, his greatest desire is to enlighten children to the magic and wonder of Mozart and Beethoven and even more important, unlock their own innate and wondrous creative gifts.
